First Dinner Meeting, Thursday, February 9, 5:30 p.m., at the Union Club.

D.C. O’Bryan was so bowled over by the musical brio of this year’s ‘phytes, he has ordered dinner meetings to begin immediately. “Think bel canto, librettos, Pasquale, Pastrami!” he effused, urging skit writers to sharpen their operatic quills. The serjeants’ stunned silence during the Neophytes’ performance on Saturday erupted into a standing ovation after the first solo, while wine glasses shattered from the powerful voices unleashed on stage. On an unrelated note, staff at the Hermit Club report the mysterious disappearance of all cats within a half-mile radius of the building.

All meetings are at the Union Club and begin 5:30 p.m. Give yourself plenty of time to consume sufficient alcohol to make Sgt. Mulligan’s musings on the History Channel as skit fodder seem hilarious.
